This beautiful lotus bud blooms on 15 March 2006, exactly on its 7th day, it is in full bloom.
Coincidentally, today is also the first day of the Spring Equinox.
This plant also blossoms with 2 more buds, can you spot the youngest bud?
I am looking forward to see the first fruit coming up. Let's start counting now, how many days it takes to bear "lian zi". Would that number be another 7, God's favourite digit?
