[[psalm:1]]

Theme: life's 2 roads.the life of the faithful person is contrasted with the life of the faithless person.

1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

The cold world needs warm-hearted Christians.
- Unknown

And there were shepherds living out in the fields
nearby, keeping watch of their flocks at night. An
angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory
of the Lord shone around them, and they were
terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be
afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that
will for all the people. Today in the town of
Bethlehem a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ
the Lord.

Live as though Christ died yesterday, rose from
the grave today, and is coming back tomorrow.

my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go
to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say,
'O God, forgive me,' or 'Help me.'
- Billy Graham

With the Jawbone of an Ass
And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of an ass have I slain a thousand men.

joyful, rejoices the heart of others.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will
never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to
frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He
can just as easily supply them ahead of time as
afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

  • Everything passes away - suffering, pain, blood, hunger, pestilence. The sword will pass away too, but the stars will still remain when the shadows of our presence and our deeds have vanished from the earth. There is no man who does not know that. Why, then, will we not turn our eyes towards the stars? Why? ~ Mikhail Bulgakov, from The White Guard

  • Everything that is done in the world is done by hope. ~ Martin Luther

  • Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: you don't give up. ~ Anne Lamott

  • Hope is a state of mind, not of the world. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense, is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises that are obviously heading for success, but rather an ability to work for something because it is good. ~ Vaclav Havel

    That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

    And never stops at all.

  • In this uncertain space between birth and death … we need hope as surely as we need food and water, love and friendship. The trick, however, is to remember that hope is a perilous thing, that it's not a steel and concrete bridge across the void between this moment and a brighter future. Hope is no stronger than tremulous beads of dew strung on a filament of spider web, and it alone can't long support the terrible weight of an anguished mind and a tortured heart. - Christopher Snow in Seize the Night by Dean Koontz

[[Fading Memories]]

Memories of the past
Sometimes fade so fast
Some just won’t last
Some would be covered by dust
Which the sands of time would cast
Some would simply be left to rust
If to keep them is to us not a must
Or maybe because life is too vast
To remember every single feeling belonging to the past.

[[recalled times]]

Recalling times - passed by years.
An ending love.
Forgotten friends.
A memory that never ends.
Tears

Days that pass. No value. No sole.
Yet days to cherish.
And days to hold,
And days that leave you cold.
Death

The time has past. A boy is grown.
To linger round.
A forgotten town.
To wish the joyful days had last.
Alone

Now man, you are - to build anew.
A better world,
To look back too.
The future holds the memories few.
Re-due

[[Memories Of You]]

Though many a day have passed
I still think of you my friend,
I still can hear the talks of yesteryear,
The smiles, laughs and goodbyes in the end.
Our time together was not enough
But still each moment did matter,
With those fights and talks and…
Teasing people with dumb chatter.
The bond of friendship still holds my heart,
And whenever I think of you
It strengthens two fold each time,
And I hope you feel the same way too.
The love of a time when we were
Nothing more than playmates
Still feels like fresh and new
And I still do thank my fates,
That I came across a person
That I could chat with and tease,
That I could enjoy just plain and simple friendship,
And the days flew past as breeze.
I still warm up to old memories
Because they hold you so near,
To my heart, my thoughts and my life
And the past seems so clear
And when I think of you again today
Tears fill my heart, and my eyes, too, well.
With the same tears that I cried when you left,
And on those precious tears, I still dwell.
With all the love for you my friend
And hoping you’re thinking of me
I ask God to send you an angel
Just so you can be close to me.

[[MEMORIES NEVER SAY GOODBYE...]]

There are special moments
Our hearts can not erase
There are special times
That have memories to embrace...

There are special people
Whose love they freely share
To light our path in lifes road
A precious gem ...So rare...

My mother is one of those people
Who has a special place in my heart
The sparkle, the Twinkle in her eye
Brought joy to me from the very start

Let me tell you ... That I hear..
The Angels singing on high
They are singing a special song to me
The song is.. "Memories never say goodbye"

[[you and me]]

You carried me for what I’m sure
felt like forever and on January 18,73.
it was finally now or never.
Your baby girl was born,
you brought me into this big world.
Full of love for me, you raised me
for a while and in those few years
you sacrificed and made everything
worth while.
You’ve missed so much but yet you
still know.
It’s scary sometimes because you know
things about me that I don't even know.
I love you mom, you’re my pride and joy,
as I am to you.
Your always there when for anything I need you
and your always there to fix my broken world.
When I was young you’d sing to me
and then tuck me into bed.
You kissed my owie’s better and chased monsters
out from under my bed.
Never thought in these days that you
would ever leave me.
However, you never really left, you stayed
close to my heart.
You’ve told me yourself that a bond that a
mother and her daughter have can never be
torn apart.
Your always there when I need you even if
I can't see you.
we talk all night, you always make me feel better.
I don’t know what I’d do without you,
I love you with all my heart
and I am very proud to be able to call you my mom.
I cannot wait until that day when from me
you will no longer be gone.
We will be together and never again be apart.

[[Childhood Memories]]

Down by the cliffs, where the seagulls cry
where the fishermen repair their torn and worn nets,
there in the grey old house, where my childhood lies
that was home, with memories I shall never forget.

Down by the rocks, where life feels at peace
where the stoney sand gets constantly washed away,
there, where the fishing boats turn out to sea
that was our beach, where we used to play.

Down by the lighthouse, where the wind blows
where the rivers journey ends to meet in the ocean,
there, where my love and affection for the sea grows
that still is home, with ever lasting devotion.

[[err....]]

It's juz some lyrics.... tat i find interesting....and meaningful...

How ya feelin'?
The day has had its way
with both of us
And oh, I've gone out of my way
But I'm not free
From this pain I'm feeling
I was a fool to think someday
You would come around
But no, no, no
I'm not thinking that way

'Cause now i see
You are not what you seem
You are a mystery to me
Sometimes I just want to scream

I think you should just go away
'cause there's no necessity
for you to stay and
Next time you come
around my way
Forget it baby
You're not comin' in

You are not what you seem
You are a mystery to me
Sometimes I just want to scream

A heart ready for a life of sorrow
No you can't come back tomorrow
Shut my windows
Lock my doors
'Cause my heart won't be
your ragdoll anymore

'Cause my heart won't be
your ragdoll anymore
